LGBTI Legal Service and Queer and Trans Workers Against Violence have taken a deep dive into government-led inquiries, strategies, action plans and policies relating to domestic and family violence and sexual violence.
We found that, despite LGBTIQ+ victim-survivors being identified as a priority cohort, the majority of government policies provide limited action to be undertaken to improve system responses and support services for LGBTIQ+ communities.
